I normally release Beat-Tapes, like a lot of it.

However, I do have to acknowledge the fact that instrumental music isn't for everyone. A lot of people need a human voice and some lyrics to connect with the music. For that reason, I've decided to start incorporate some mixtapes into my discography, and not solely beat-tapes.

This is my first effort to put together a mixtape.

I keep my 18-mins format, since it fits perfectly one side of a vinyl record, if I decide to release it under that format, and 4 mixtapes would account for 72 mins, which fits perfectly a CD.

For this first mixtape, I've contacted many rappers I like and respect. Not all of them responded, but I was very glad to see that female rappers were on-board with this project. This almost female-male ratio close to 50-50 gave me the idea of the Vixens and Villains project. Eventually, the ratio shifted towards the male side, but the working title sticked.

For this project, all rappers were given access to a folder full of beats from my discography. Surprisingly, there was no fight over the same beat. Everybody picked a different beat, as if each of them was able to find a beat that fit their unique personality.

All I had to do after was to compile the acapella, arrange, mix and master the mixtape.

I'm really impressed by the quality of the roster on this album.
Gavlyn, Quelle Chris, AJ Suede, Gifted Gab, Mega Ran, Psalm One, Faf Larage, Teller Bank$, Jayy Starr, Jay NiCE & Ru$h and Josiah the Gift are all excellent MCs.
