SYPNOSIS:
Two shipwreck survivors wake up on an Island where an indigenous tribe lives. The tribe interprets the presence of the two caucasian men as being a sign that their gods are bringing them bad fortune. One old woman plays the witch/shaman.

PRODUCTION:
Recently, I've been consuming a lot of Exotica music from the late 50s/early 60s. I simply fell in love with that eclectic sound. At the same time, I've decided to modernize my sound by experimenting with tempos and rhythms outside of my comfort zone. The end result is this refreshing, mind blowing mix of modern and tribal sounds. I wanted to make some "Tiki Beats".

DIALOGUES:
To add to the seductive mixture, dialogues from the (now public domain) She Gods of Shark Reef [1958] movie were sampled to add a narrative to the story.
